Cats enjoy lying in sunlight and looking outside. So, they love to sleep on windowsill.
It’s like us just lying in bed, watching TV, then falling asleep. They would love a cat post or a window perch near the window area. Don’t forget a window screen for protection.

Cats like sleeping up high. There are two main reasons. First, they feel cold and go up to sleep because warm air rises up.
Second, they go up to find safe spots because they feel uncomfortable. One example is when a stranger comes over.

Cats are highly independent. So, adult cats tend to sleep alone.

Some cats sleep in a cat carrier. It’s because they're well trained, get used to it, or feel comfortable there.
